Some notes for the residents and vistors

Robinson Township is home to the hamlet of Silver Water.  As a taxpayer, you may or may not know about this lovely village.  We would like to let you know about some of its features.  Silver Water has a community hall that has two floors and a kitchen that may be rented for group usage (once it is safe to do so).  There is an abundance of books that may be bought with a donation.  The Recreation committee hosts euchre evenings here and there are community dinners and breakfasts here during the year.  Silver Water also has a volunteer fire department which welcomes interested residents.

We are interested in collecting photographs (online) showing the beauty of our township, so if you are willing to contribute to this collection, please post your photos and include #manitoulinrobinsontownship in your description. This works on the social media, like Facebook and Instagram, because the hashtag (#) in front of a word means that other people can type it into a ‘search’ and the Internet will collect all the photos with that hashtag and display them.  #manitoulinrobinsontownship has already been set up for us on Facebook and Instagram, so we invite users of Twitter to set it up as well.

Fire Ban Lifted

After all the rain the fire ban is lifted. It may be invoked again depending on the weather.  Please exercise good judgment when thinking of having that next campfire and when you leave camp make sure the fire is completely out and not smouldering.
