Robinson Fire Dept. Responds To Single Car Roll Over

On October 14 at 3:30 PM Robinson Fire Dept. responded to a single vehicle roll over at the corner of hwy 540 and Armstrong Rd approx 9 km West from the fire hall.  The FD arrived on scene within 15 min of the initial call. 2 people inside the car were able to get out through a smashed window on their own. There was an extensive debris field. UCCM police, OPP and EMS attended the scene. There was no post accident fire and the FD cleaned up the roadway once OPP gave the all clear. Both patients were transported to hospital, one by air ambulance. Robinson FD performed traffic control and made sure the patients were kept warm and given water until EMS arrived. OPP thanked chief Doug Wismer for an excellent job on traffic control and working with all first responders. The FD wishes to thank the first drivers on scene who initially helped the patients.

  1. That looks nasty! It's a really good thing that Robinson has trained firefighters to help with accidents like this - thank you firefighters!
